Women’s Issues SIG meeting agenda
1. The Women’s Issues SIG has a two-fold purpose: 1) furthering our awareness of women’s issues as they pertain to migraine and other headache disorders, and 2) the development of a Women’s Leadership Program for AHS members.
2. Women’s SIG research:
a. If you have a specific interest in research as it pertains to women’s issues in migraine and other headache disorders, please email Rashmi Halker at email@example.com as it would be ideal to form a smaller group to take the lead on such research projects. Please also email me if you have specific projects in mind and would like the help and support of the Women’s Issues SIG.
b. Paper to identify areas in need of further research: things that we do routinely in clinical practice that need better clinical evidence. Drs. Jelena Pavlovic and Rebecca Burch have volunteered to do this. Updates?
c. A small group has been finalizing a questionnaire to send to AHS members regarding their patient preconception counseling practices. This is being finalized.
3. Women’s Leadership development:
a. We’d like to create monthly webinars with various experts discussing specific topics
b. Half-day Women’s Leadership Forum at June meeting:
